This remarkable desk lamp in distinct modernist style was designed by Kurt Versen. Dating from the 1940's, the originally nickel-plated metal has acquired a rich patina. Rewired with a large socket for energy saving lamps.
Because of its unique design, this lamp was featured in the book "1000 Lights 1879-1959" by Charlotte and Peter Fiell.
