Ercuis - Silver Plated Cutlery Canteen - 12 pax./132-piece - Louis XV motive - France, 20th Century

An exclusive and very extensive silver plated cutlery set from the renowned Orfevrerie Ercuis. This splendid tableware set consists of no less than 132 pieces, and includes 12 complete place settings. This Louis XV-style pattern, no longer produced, is one of the most ornate designs produced by Ercuis. Besides a 120-piece tableware set, the canteen features 12 large and heavy serving pieces, which by themselves will be true eye-catchers on your table. The canteen itself consists of 3 drawers with a cloth inlay, in which all pieces fit perfectly.

All pieces are marked with the hallmark of Ercuis (O-Centaur-E), as well as the silver content (100/84/x/x..). The blades of the knives are marked Ercuis.

The cutlery is in very good condition, with slight traces of use. These mainly consist of expected, slight scratches and oxidation of the silver. No wear or damage is present.
