A Silver Plated Art Deco Cutlery Canteen of Mahogeny veneer - 12-pax./122-pieces - Dèlheid Frères, Belgium c. 1938
This splendid silver plated Art Deco cutlery set was produced at the end of the 1930's by the silversmiths Delheid Frères of Brussels. The cutlery comes in a canteen of mahogeny veneer featuring 4 removable drawers. The canteen stands on a base of 4 pillar-shaped legs and wheels. This base can be removed, leaving the canteen itself placeable at any preffered location.

- 11 dinner settings (12 spoons+ 11 forks+ 12 knives)
- 11 fish settings (11 forks+ 12 knives)
- 12 breakfast settings (spoons+forks+knives)
- 12 cake forks
- 12 tea/coffee spoons

All pieces are of a heavy quality ensuring firm handling. All in good condition with minor signs of ware consistent with age. The canteen is in fine condition and features removable inlays that can be repositioned.
Marked [S-Trident] for Sivar and a mark indicating the silver thickness (100/84/x/x..) The blades of the knives are marked [Sivar Inox] for stainless steel.
