Silver plated dinner place settings - set of 6 - "Filet" - France, c. 1900

A set of 6 antique, silver plated dinner place settings in a classic pattern. This style - often dubbed "Filet" - was one of the most common patterns at the end of the 19th century. Every self-respecting silversmith made sure to have a similair pattern in store. The pieces have a narrow stem ending in a wider end of the handle. A double line ends in the shape of a heart at the bottom side, giving every piece a timeless and classy character.

This set of 6 place settings is no exception. The pieces are in good shape for their age, with a beautiful shine and only minor marks of wear.
