Silver Plated Cutlery Canteen - 137-piece/12-pax. in Louis XV/Rococo style - Solingen, Germany c.1930
A beautiful and extensive silver plated cutlery, consisting of 4 patterns in Louis XV / Rococo style, which all differ subtly from each other. The cutlery consists of no less than 137 parts, including a 21-piece serving cutlery. Comes with an original canteen in which all cutlery parts fit perfectly. This canteen has a silk insert for the serving cutlery with 2 trays for placing the table cutlery.

The cutlery is in a good, slightly used condition. Only 6 parts are somewhat faded. The cassette has some discoloration on the canvas, but is otherwise in excellent condition.
All parts are marked on the back with [100] as an indication of the thickness of the silver plate. The blades of the knives are marked with "Solingen Rostfrei" to indicate that the blades are made of stainless steel (silver is too soft a metal for this).
