An impressive silver-plated Jardiniere in the Rococo style - period 1880-1910
A stunning silver-plated jardiniere - or centerpiece of the table. The sides and feet are beautifully cast in the shapes of rococo-style shells, tendrils and acanthus leaves. These details and engravings are of high quality and craftsmanship, flanking four centers of lacework. The removable, silver-plated liner follows the contours of the jardiniere and comes with two ring-shaped handles. The piece is of a rare size and measures no less than 51 by 30 cm, with a height of 12 cm.
In excellent condition. The liner has some wear and scratches on the inside.
