Silver plated Chippendale Tea service on tray - Yeoman of England - 1st half of the 20th century
A beautiful silver-plated tea set, consisting of a teapot, a coffee pot, a cream jug and a sugar bowl. The set was made in the first half of the 20th century by the British Yeoman of England and executed in the Chippendale style. The pots are richly decorated and in excellent condition. The tray is richly decorated with engravings.

Yeoman of England was founded in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire, England in 1897. The company manufactured silver and silver-plated articles until 1972 and supplied the well-known Harrods department store in London. In 1972 it was taken over by Douglas Pell Silverware.
