A splendid silver-plated cutlery in the style of the first Empire period. The cutlery is manufactured by the Belgian Wiskemann of Brussels, and comes in the original canteen with 4 drawers and anti-oxidation cloths. All parts are beautifully decorated with patterns of lotus flowers, palmettes and rosettes. In excellent condition. There are light scratches of use appropriate to the age. All parts are marked with [OW] [+] or [WISKEMANN] [+]. The blades of the knives are marked [Orfevrerie Wiskemann Bruxelles] In the last 2 photos you can see this pattern depicted in the Wiskemann catalog of 1931. It can be confidently stated that the cutlery is at least 80 years old.
