Victorian Mahogany Canterbury - c. 1850
Dating from around the 1840's to the 1860's, this Victorian-era Canterbury would have functioned as a storage for sheets of music paper. Because of this, one could inevitably find these pieces near or next to a piano. In the modern age, they make for fine magazine racks. This canterbury is in it's original condition, with 4 compartments and on the original casters.
