Antique Christofle Serving Spoon - Baguette pattern (Fidelio) - France, 1900-1935
An antique silver-plated serving spoon, produced in the factory of Charles Christofle, Paris. Based on the markings, the spoon can be dated to the period of 1900-1935. This soup ladle is made in the Baguette model. It is still sold today as the Fidelio collection.
In excellent condition. Light, inconspicuous scratches consistent with age, and (polishable) oxidation of the silver.
Marked on the inside of the bowl with [C-Scales-C] for Charles Christofle. This mark dates from before 1935, when the company changed its hallmark to the O-C combination for Orfevrerie Christofle.
