Set of 12 Art Deco kniferests - Animals - C. 1940's-1950's

A set of 12 knife rests in the shape of animals, in silver-colored metal or chrome-plated. The knife rests are designed in typical Art Deco style, with sharp contours and clean lines. Probably France, dated circa 1940's-1950's.

Consisting of:

- 2 Dogs
- 2 Cats
- 2 Wolves
- 2 Chickens
- 2 Pigs
- 2 Hares

The knife rests are in good condition for their age, with light signs of wear. The set comes in the original box, which is fairly worn, but still serves its purpose of storing the knife rests.
