Christofle - Silver plated Dinner fork - Talisman - Rare Laque de Chine piece

A rare dinner fork by Christofle of France, from the Talisman series. These pieces are only available through special order at Christofle. The piece has a beautiful pattern of silver-plated lacework, with a finish of Laque de Chine in the empty spaces in between, a special, labor-intensive way of coloring with the juice of plants from the Far East.

The fork is in excellent condition.
