Silver Plated Sauce Boat - Louis XVI - Mills, Brussels - 1948

A beautiful sauce boat on a saucer, made in 1948 by the silversmith H.N. Mills & Cie, of Brussels. The piece is executed in Louis XVI style. The whole decorated with a pattern of lotus leaves on the edges. This pattern also runs over the handles, which end in acanthus leaves. The bowl comes along with a sauce spoon.

The piece is in excellent condition. Some light scratches here and there from use.

Marked on the bottom with [Tower][Mills][48 - this is most likely the year of production][38]
