Silver Plated Cutlery Set in Louis XV/Rococ-style - 90-piece/12-pax. - Jacob Knapp, Dusseldorf - 1957
An elegant silver-plated set of cutlery in typical Rococo, decorated with the rocaille, scrollwork and C- and S shapes. The pieces were made by the silversmith Jacob Knapp of Düsseldorf and originally purchased in 1957. The whole is suitable for 12 people and consists of a total of 90 parts, consisting of:
- 12 dinner spoons
- 12 dinner knives
- 12 dinner forks
- 12 appetizer/breakfast knives
- 12 appetizer/breakfast forks
- 12 tea/dessert spoons

The cutlery is in very good condition, with minor traces of wear that are limited to small scratches and some (polishable) oxidation of the silver.
All pieces are marked on the back with [K][100] for Jacob Knapp and the silver plating.
Included is the original warranty card from 1957, signed the 11th of july 1957.
