B. Wiskemann, Brussels - Silver plated cutlery set in Louis XIV style - 55-piece/6-pax. - Belgium, c. 1930

Beautiful silver plated set of cutlery by the silversmith Bruno Wiskemann, of the famous Wiskemann family of Brussels. The pieces are very richly decorated in the style of Louis XIV , with symmetrically laid out laurel wreaths, festoons and floral motives. The cutlery is old, dating from the period 1925-1940, and one of the earlier editions from the silversmith's repertoire.

- 12 appetizer/breakfast knives
- 5 coffee spoons
- Rice Spoon
- Sauce/Gravy spoon

In good, slightly used condition. One of the starter knives has a dent in the handle.

All pieces marked [BW] for Bruno Wiskemann. The blades of the knives are marked with "Bruno Wiskemann Orfèvre Bruxelles - Inoxydable".
