Christofle - Atlas collection - 6 silver-plated place settings - Luc Lanel for the S.S. Normandie - France, 1930's
An 18 piece set of dinner cutlery in the iconic "Atlas" pattern, designed circa 1930 by Luc Lanel for the first class dining room of the "S.S. Normandie", the famous steamliner that sailed the France - New York route. The dining rooms on this ship would become one of the most famous examples of interior design from the Art Deco period.
Consisting of:
- 6 dinner spoons
- 6 dinner knives
- 6 dinner forks
The pieces are in fine condition for their age, with minor signs of wear. Please refer to the photos for details.
