Gero, Gerritsen Zeist - Silver Plated Art Deco Cutlery Canteen - series 56 "Nordique" - 97-piece/12-pax. - the Netherlands, 1952-1958

An original and complete silver-plated canteen of cutlery in the Art Deco style, manufactured by Gero Zeist of the Netherlands between 1952-1958. Pattern by the Danish designer Georg Nilsson. The canteen of dark, solid wood features four drawers with an inlay of tan cloth in which the cutlery can be stored perfectly. On the inside, each drawer features a plaque with "Gero Zilvium" on it, narrowing the date to after 1952.
