A beautiful silver plated set of cutlery by Christofle, Paris. From the fairly rare Port Royal collection. The cutlery is decorated in the Régence style, with neoclassical details of laurel wreaths, acanthus leaves and cartouches. Consisting of 99 pieces in total, it comes in an original dark Christofle canteen with 4 drawers and anti-oxidation cloths.

The cutlery is in very good condition, with minor signs of wear (superficial scratches due to use, as well as some (polishable) discoloration of the silver.

All pieces are marked in the spoon trays and under the tines of the forks with the official Christofle hallmarks: [O-Scales-C] above [CHRISTOFLE] and [O-Rook-C] above [FRANCE]. Blades of the knives marked with Christofle, France.
