Christofle - Pompadour - Silver Plated Sugar Spoon
This silver-plated sugar spoon from the Pompadour collection by Christofle is decorated with a subtle pattern of scrollwork and acanthus curls. The Pompadour model was withdrawn from production a few years ago, so pieceswill become increasingly rare. This silver plated sugar spoon is a miniature of the large soup ladle, with a deep bowl that makes it ideal for scooping and sprinkling sugar.
Length: 15cm
The piece is in excellent condition. There is no damage, and the silver luster is beautifully preserved.
Marked in the spoon tray with [O-Scales-C] above [Christofle] on one side and [O-Chess Piece-C][France] for Orfevrerie Christofle. These marks were in use from 1935 to 1985.
