Christofle - Pompadour - Silver Plated Fish Serving Knife

A silver plated serving knife for fish dishes, from the Pompadour collection by Christofle. The piece is decorated with a subtle pattern of scrollwork and acanthus curls. The Pompadour pattern was withdrawn from production a few years ago, so pieces will become increasingly rare. Fish dishes can be served perfectly with this large serving knife.

Length: 27.5cm

The piece is in good, slightly used condition. Light scratches from use are present, but the knife is otherwise undamaged and in fine condition.

Marked on the leaf with [O-Libra-C] above [Christofle] on the one hand and [O-Chessman-C] [France] for Orfevrerie Christofle. These marks were in use from 1935 to 1985.
