Gero, Gerritsen Zeist - Mahogany and Silver Plated Cutlery Canteen - 676 collection - Canteen N. 1000 - 239-piece/12-pax. - the Netherlands, 1917-1941

An extensive, original canteen of silver-plated cutlery in solid mahogany, produced in the years 1917-1940 by Gero, Gerritsen-Zeist of the Netherlands. The five drawers contain a silver-plated cutlery set of no less than 239 silver-plated pieces, made in the fairly rare pattern "676". This canteen was the largest sold by Gero at the time (the last picture shows this canteen in the Gero catalog of January 1940).

All pieces are marked on the back with [Letter][Gero][90] for Gero, Zeist. This pattern was only released between 1917-1941.
