Round silver plated Serving Tray - Bohrmann, Frankfurt - 1908

A round silver plated tray of 35cm in diameter. The tray was made by the silversmith B.Bohrmann from Frankfurt and dates from 1908. In the center of the tray is an elegant monogram "H.B.".

The tray is in good condition, with some scratching on the inside of the tray, which undoubtedly used to have jugs, bowls and glasses on it while it served its guests.

Marked in plain sight with [40][Bohrmann][08]. The number on the left is the number of grams of silver used for the production. The [08] here stands for the last two digits of the production year, ie 1908.
