Christofle - Vendome - Silver Plated Cutlery Canteen - 48-piece/12-pax. - France, c. 1980

This silver-plated set of cutlery was made by famous French silversmith, Orfevrerie Christofle. The name of this silver house has been synonymous with quality, style and elegance for 200 years. The pieces in this canteen are designed in the Vendome pattern. The pattern - which harkens back to the style of Louis XIV - is beautifully decorated with a scallop on the underside of the stems. The canteen contains a silver-plated set of cutlery for 12 people, and consists of a total of 48 pieces:

- 12 dinner spoons
- 12 dinner knives
- 12 dinner forks
- 12 coffee spoons
