Silver Plated Jardinierre - Rococo - Frenais, Armand - Paris, 1877-1927
Very nice silver-plated Jardinierre in Rococo style, dating from the late 19th/early 20th century. The lavishly decorated piece on four scrolled legs can serve beautifully as a planter, as a centerpiece on the table or simply as decoration. This jardinierre is made of a tin alloy, over which a layer of silver has been applied. The piece comes from the silversmith Frenais, Armand, who operated in the years 1877-1927 at the Parisian 65/77 Boulevard Richard-Lenoir.
