Splendid silver-plated set of cutlery by the French "Société Française d'Alliage de Métaux". Adorned with an ornate pattern of trophies, acanthus leaves and laurel wreaths, in the neoclassical Louis XVI-style of the late 18th century. In addition to 12 place settings for the main course for a group of twelve people, the cutlery set also contains a lavish collection of serving pieces.

All pieces marked in the bowls of the spoons and under the tines with [METAL ALLIAGE BLANC] and [Handshake][84GR]. The blades marked [Blanco] for stainless steel. The serving pieces are marked with [J.D.C.] [90] on the back.
