Antique Christofle Cutlery Canteen - Chinon collection - 37-piece/12-pax. - Paris, 1894

An antique silver-plated set of cutlery and original canteen, manufactured by the renowned Christofle & Cie in 1894. In the Chinon pattern- In olden times known as "Fillet" - a collection that is no longer sold by Christofle today. The pieces will therefore become increasingly rare. The canteen made of wood with a hinged lid and stitched Christofle logo, an inlay of red velours and original brass hardware.

Consisting of:
- 12 dinner spoons
- 12 dinner forks
- 12 dessert/tea spoons*
- Large soup ladle

In excellent condition. Especially considering its age, this cutlery set is still in excellent condition, without loss of silver or damage. The canteen has some slight spots of wear, as well as one broken closing clip. 

* 1 teaspoon is not original. This spoon also has damage to the silver layer.

All parts are marked on the back with [C-Scales-C][94][CHRISTOFLE] for Christofle & Cie/Charles Christofle. The year of production is 1894.
