Silver Plated Art Deco Tea- and Coffee service - Fenton, Russel & Co - Edinburgh, c. 1930

A set of a silver-plated Tea- and Coffee pot, made in the Art Deco period by Fenton, Russel & Co of Edinburgh, Scotland. The pots with wooden handles and knobs on the lids.

In very good condition.

Marked on the bottom with [F.R. & Co. ][Ld][Oil lamp][7434]

Fenton, Russel & Co. was founded in 1822 by Bailie Thomas Russell on Hunter Square in Edinburgh. The business was continued in 1853 by James Fenton in partnership with Ferguson. The partnership was dissolved in 1876 and continued by James Fenton under the old name of Thomas Russell & Co. From 1900 onward the firm went under the name Fenton, Russell & Co Ltd.
