A set of 8 place settings for fish courses by Christofle, Paris. From the Boreal collection, designed in 1929 for Christofle by Luc Lanel. The model is typical of the Art Deco style, with octagonal ends of the handles and a fan pattern with clean lines. Combined with Christofle's French elegance, it is the pinacle of French Art Deco tableware.

Marked below the tines of the forks with [O-Chess Piece-C] and [O-Scales-C] above [CHRISTOFLE]. These hallmarks were in use between 1935-1983.
