Silver Plated Louis XV Cutlery Canteen - 151 pieces/12-pax. - Orfevrerie Bel - France, c. 1950
Superb silver-plated set of cutlery in a solid wooden case, manufactured around the turn of the 1950's by Orfeverie Bel. The whole consists of no less than 151 pieces, suitable for 12 table guests, and is beautifully decorated with an exuberant Rococo pattern of curled acanthus leaves, flowers and tendrils. The pieces are silver plated on a basis of 100 grams of silver (100 grams of silver are used for the silver plating of 12 table spoons and 12 table forks).

- 3 table knives and 3 luncheon knives in the"Elysée" pattern by Frionnet Francois. This pattern differs slightly, but blends in well with the rest of the pieces.
A total of 151 pieces .
All pieces are in excellent condition. There are minor scratches here and there. The silver layer is still pristine, and the luster is beautifully preserved. The wooden canteen in very good condition. The cloth has some stains on the inside in some places.
Marked under the tines of the forks and in the bowls of the spoons with [Bel][100].
