Antique Christofle Cutlery Canteen - Rubans collection - 87-piece/12-pax. - 1907-1935

Beautiful antique silver-plated set of cutlery from the classic Rubans collection by Christofle. This set was made in the period 1907-1935 and still bears the old marks of Christofle et Cie. The cutlery is beautifully decorated with bows and cross straps, which gives the pieces a playful yet elegant look.

Consisting of:

- 12 dinner spoons
- 12 Dinner knives (bone handles)
- 12 dinner forks
- 12 Appetizer/breakfast spoons
- 12 Appetizer/Breakfast (bone handles)
- 12 Appetizer/breakfast forks
- 12 coffee spoons

- Sauce ladle
- 2 long meat forks

A total of 87 pieces.

The whole comes in a burgundy red canteen with  folding lid, which is in good condition. The knives are not originally from Christofle and have a bone handle. Decorated above the handle with a silver-plated band with cross straps, which makes them fit nicely with the Christofle pieces.

All pieces are marked with the official Christofle hallmarks from before 1935: C-Scales-C and [CHRISTOFLE] beneath the tines of the forks and in the bowls of the spoons.
