Beautiful silver plated Empire set of cutlery, decorated with acanthus leaves, volutes, and pearl rims. Manufactured by the silversmith Saglier Frères, one of the renowned silversmiths from the heart of Paris - originating from the workshop of the famous silversmith Victor Saglier.
The cutlery comes in its original canteen with folding lid, burgundy red velvet inlay and two removable trays. The whole consists of no less than 142 parts and is suitable for 12 table guests.

The cutlery is in excellent condition, with only small micro-scratches. The silver layer is perfectly preserved. The canteen is also in good, functional condition with traces commensurate with age.
All pieces marked under the tines of the forks and in the bowls of the spoons: [S-Star-F above ***]. Blades of the knives marked [Nirosta J.A. Henckel BASTET].
