French silver salad servers - .950 silver - Alexandre Huignard - 1854-1866
A set of French silver salad servers- consisting of a salad spoon and salad fork - in first standard silver (.950/1000). The servers were made by the silversmith Alexandre Huignard between 1854 and 1866. The violin-shaped stems with a volute and acanthus leaf at the bottom of the handles. The set was once purchased at Maison Mugnier in Geneva, and comes in a box with Art Nouveau decorations.
