An antique pair of Pickle Jars on a large silver plated stand, dated to 1897 and manufactured by Elkinton & Co, one of England's most renowned silverware manufacturers of the nineteenth century. The set includes two cut-glass jars in which pickles and other wares were originally served at the table. The Victorian style frame with beaded edges and four raised legs shaped like knotted ropes. A beautiful large-format specimen.

In excellent condition. One of the two jars is missing a piece of glass of approximately 1x1cm just below the edge (visible on the last picture)
