Christofle - Marly - Antique Dinner Knife

Beautiful antique silver-plated knife by Christofle, Paris. The knife was manufactured in the old Christofle et Cie factory in the period between 1897-1914, and is still equipped with an original steel blade (in contrast to the nowadays common stainless steel blades that emerged from around the 1920's). The knife is of large size and therefore fits well in the hand.

In the Marly pattern in typical Rococo style. This collection has adorned the Christofle catalog since 1897.
