A Silver Plated 5-piece Tea- and Coffee Service by James Dixon & Sons - Sheffield, c. 1900

An antique silver-plated coffee and tea set, with beautifully twisted jugs. The set was made in the 1900's by the company James Dixon & Sons, one of the most prominent British manufacturers during the Industrial Revolution. The pieces have a beautiful dark patina.

Consisting of:
Teapot (Boulloire): 21cm high
Coffee pot: 22cm high
Chocolatiere: 14cm high
Sugar bowl: 10cm high
Creamer: 7.5cm high

In excellent condition with wear commensurate with age. The patina has been deliberately kept. The lids fully functional.

The pieces are marked on the bottom with [Trumpet with banner][EPBM][JD&S][4256] for James Dixon & Sons.
