Christofle - Marly - Antique Dessert Knife

Beautiful antique silver-plated knife by Christofle , Paris. The knife was manufactured in the workshop of Christofle et Cie in the period 1897-1914, and is still equipped with the original steel blade (in contrast to the nowadays common stainless steel blades that emerged from around the 1920's).

In the Marly pattern, in typical Rococo style. This collection has adorned the Christofle catalog since 1897.
