Christofle - Baguette - 12 silver-plated table knives - France, 1910-1935

A set of 12 antique table knives by Christofle, from the Baguette (Fidelio) collection. The knives with a smooth, round handle and rounded blades. These knives are of a large size (25cm long!) and will add to any classically set table. Due to their size, they also fit well in the hand. The Baguette collection is Christofle's oldest series of cutlery pieces, and has been issued since the company's start in the 19th century. In 1992, Christofle reintroduced the Baguette series, this time under the name Fidelio; a testament to the timeless character of the design. These knives date from the period 1910-1935.
