Christofle - Talisman - Laque de Chine (Black) - Silver Plated Champagne Cooler + Corkscrew - France, c. 1990

A silver-plated Christofle champagne cooler from the Talisman collection. Pieces from this collection are only custom made to order. This rare specimen is conical in shape, with a pattern of concentric rings below the edge. The handles are finished with a black layer of Chinese lacquer (Lacque de Chine). The champagne cooler also comes with a matching corkscrew. Ideal for opening a beautiful bottle in style and then placing it directly on the ice. Then you can enjoy the weather with an ice-cold glass.

In excellent condition. Some small spots of paint loss on the handle of the corkscrew (see photo).
