Christofle - Hemerocalle - Silver Plated Vegetable Server - France, 1880-1935

Antique silver-plated vegetable spoon from the "Hemerocalle" (Daylily) collection by Christofle et Cie. This series - the pieces of which are shaped like leaves - was first issued in the late 19th century. The pattern is still depicted in the 1926 catalogue, but it appears to have been discontinued around the 1930's. This server therefore dates from the late 19th or early 20th century, and is still in excellent condition.
