Orfevrerie Wiskemann - Extensive Silver Plated Cutlery Set - 209-piece/12-pax - "N.14 Louis XV" - Belgium, 1940-1950
Beautiful and very extensive silver-plated cutlery set in its original cutlery drawers. The cutlery was made around the middle of the 20th century by the Belgian Orfevrerie Wiskemann, one of the most prominent silversmith's in 20th-century Belgium. The whole consists of no fewer than 209 heavily silver-plated cutlery pieces, made in the elegant "N.14 Louis XV" pattern. Decorated with acanthus leaves, C and S shapes and floral details. Many of the serving pieces are finely engraved with Rococo motifs. The cutlery is suitable for 12 table guests.

The cutlery is in excellent condition. There are only minor signs of use (superficial scratches). The silver layer is outstanding.
