Silver Plated Cutlery Canteen - 62-piece/12-pax - Louis XV - Orfevrerie George Well, Paris - 1945-1950
Beautiful silver-plated canteen of cutlery, dating from the late 1940's. Made by the silversmith George Well - active at 24 rue Béranger, Paris. The whole is suitable for 12 table guests and consists of a total of 62 pieces. The pieces are beautifully decorated with a Rococo pattern of curls, tendrils and flowers. The cutlery set comes in its original blue canteen with folding lid and white felt inlay, wherein the pieces can be stored perfectly.

- 12 dinner knives (25cm / 9.8inch)
- 12 dinner forks (21.5cm / 8.2inch)
- 12 starter/lunch knives (21.5cm / 8.2inch)

The cutlery is in excellent condition.
All pieces marked [G-Francia-W] for Orfevrerie George Well - Francia. The blades of the knives are marked with Francia Inox.
